I pretty much hate all drugstore brands and as for smashbox i normally don't like em, but my husband just got me their latest palette & it is sooo much better! They re-did their shadows and no longer have fallout & have pigmentation. All in all with this last palette no complaints.

I don't like CG, Maybelline, or L'Oreal because they torture animals and their products strait up suck, minus CG lash blast i love that stuff.

Every product has hits and misses, but I cant really find much products I like about Covergirl, except for their blushes.

I agree with the person who said every brand has a hit and miss. It kills me when a brand has so many good things said about it and then it doesn't work for me. It happened with Bare Minerals and NYX Liquid foundation. It made my normally dry skin so oily, I didn't know what to do. It took me a few days to figure out what was actually wrong.

I don't like Cover Girl. Their products aren't new or exciting. They often are very poor quality. And I hate most of their packaging.

Maybelline has never worked out for me. Especially their eye shadows! I've bought multiple products from them and the only positive thing I can say, is their mascaras work well except that they flake off. But overall, I'm never buying their products again.

OKay good thing I read through AL L of these posts. someone here mentioned that CG carried lead in their lipstick, I usually do not buy drugstore brand anything bc I am a stickler for my face and I believe that whatever goes on the face should be the best quality regardless of cost (if its expensive and great I get it) but I ONE DAY bought a CG lipstick (a really cute pink) and the next day I woke up with the driest patch of skin on my lip ever, and I had NEVER ever ever experienced that in my life. Took my skin like 2 weeks to come back from that. I thought I was breaking out into a cold sore and didn't know what could trigger it since I clean my makeup and brushes and I am the only one who uses it. Needless to say ANOTHER CG FAIL. BIG TIME. Rimmel sucks. Smashbox I agree with some of you their eyeliner dries up too quickly and their lip glosses are too sticky and pretty much suck... I am fast becoming a HUGE fan of Amazing Cosmetics for ANYTHING to do with the skin, pricier but its just BETTER. ELF so true I bought their like 188 color palette and some of the colors don't even show on the skin which is unfortunate since it LOOKS so vibrant in its casing.

e.l.f doesn't show up on my skin at all. I'm really tan so I either have to use light or dark neutrals and neither of them showed up. Total CRAP! But I like the e.l.f blush. Also the Sonia Kashuk(?) brushes. Way to over priced for their quality...

elf shadows are terrible! i have one quad I like, but the rest? garbage!! even when I use a primer AND a cream base like NYX milk it still doesn't stay on my lid. I do, however, like the elf mineral shadows, lip glosses, and blushes. I also hate Kat von d, and hard candy!

Covergirl is the WORST!!! Covergirl's foundations made me break out, and they come off really easy, so I switched to Rimmel's Clean Finish Foundation and I LOVE it!!! But my faves are Rimmel, Wet 'N' Wild, Elf, Hard Candy, Kat Von D, Lime Crime, Sugarpill, Sleek. :)
