Well it all started with an invite to my girlfriends BBQ, so I thought I haven't been out in a while perfect excuse to buy a new outfit!! Well the lady at Lane Bryant was a very good salesman and convinced me into buying a pair of skinny jeans!! Well needless to say the next day after the BBQ I go on facebook and see pics of this woman with a huge camel toe, well come to the realization it was me!! I was horrified!! That was the last time I ever wore skinny jeans!!

lol thats funny. I remember during my freshman year of high school, my eyelashes were irritating me, during one of my classes, i plucked with my fingers all my eyelashes out. Scary sight

hahah OMG in the 7th grade my parents finally allowed me to wear makeup after they grew tired of my constant begging ! I remember only being allowed to wear a little powder and blush so I decided to sneak my mom's makeup bag to school one day! I put on blue eyeshadow and lined my lips with this dark plum liner then covered it with a dark plum lipstick! I also managed to cover my face in her sand tone foundtaion (Mind you my mother has olive complexion and I am very fair so colors that work for her don't tend to necessarily work on me) it wasn't until I left the girls bathroom that my friends keyed me in on the fact that I looked like a complete clown and the color of my neck did NOT match the color of my face ! haha oh talk about live and learn! My mom was furious when I got home and I wasn't able to wear makeup for another year ( my mom luckily helped me find colors and products that worked for me and my colors when i was able to wear makeup again). hahaha

When I was in high school I had a lot of blemishes on my face and tried to cover them. I started using the Physicials Formula green cover stick for redness on them. Well guess I wasn't so great at blending because my friend told me I had green dots all over my face. lol

One night I was experimenting with makeup and did red eyebrows, but I forgot to clean the brush. So the next day I was doing my makeup and when I got to school my friend pointed out that my eyebrows were purple. I had ginger hair. >_<

When I first started wearing makeup in the 7th grade, I had very smokey, dark, "night out" type of eyeshadow on all the time(in the end I settled with natural browns and beiges). And one time I didnt havetime to wipe off the makeup and I had to go to dance class and my hip-hop teacher comes up to me and he's like, "Girl! How old are you? You shouldn't be wearing that much makeup!" That day I was wearing blue eyeliner and blue and black eyeshadow. Oh the days when I acted like a complete FOOL wit makeup lol

Waxing my eyebrows after forgetting that I had done a deep exfoliation the night before. Needless to say I took off skin. I figured I'd tell people I got in a fight rather than saying I had a waxing mishap.

My mom allowed me shave when I was in 7th grade and I thought that instead of using a razor I thought of getting Nair hair remover. Let's just say it was a complete mess. I had to wear pants for 6 months while I waited for my skin to heal.

Before I was allowed to shape or pluck my eyebrows, I thought it'd be a good idea to just take a shaving razor straight down my forehead between my brows. I didn't think anyone would notice the hairs missing, but I ended up getting a little more than I expected, and had really spaced apart eyebrows for a while. Oh, and razor burn on the middle of my face! *face/palm*

I used a really light foundation to get me out of my P.E. class.

i had a meeting with one of my favorite professors for my final project in his class and i didn't realize that my teeth were covered in purple lipstick... he told me as soon as i greeted him. i was horrified.

I have to cut my lashes so that they fit my eyes properly and I had the cut off section on my cheek for a couple of hours without anyone telling me! I was at school and went shopping too. It was so funny when I found it.

@Jasmine I've heard of people cutting lashes, it confuses me, what's it all about? :S

@Zoe I didn't clarify, I meant cutting false lashes before I put them on. They don't fit my eyes because they are slightly smaller and the rest of the lash band was stuck on my face haha.

Oops, my bad xD there's actually a few girls at my school who trim their real lashes though...it's kinda gross :/

I've always loved editorial type makeup, and when I was about 15, emo (the fashion trend) was in, so my love for editorial and emo and every day met; it wasn't pretty. I had hot pink eyeshadow up to my eyebrows in a long stretching band across my face horizontally. they called me "cake face" for a while.

@Zoe I've had a couple of friends who did that. It's not too uncommon, especially with people who have lashes that grow pretty long.

I got eyelashes put on by a "professional". maybe it was me but OMG that was uncomfortable and not only that, I looked like popeye for three days after I tried to take them off not realizing she used glue (I fell asleep when she did them) :(

Stupid me put food coloring in my hair when I was about 8. I thought I was cool, my friends at school loved it, it turned out really well...until the weather became hotter & hotter during the day and it ran out onto my skin & shirt. lol

I used to match my eye shadow to my pull overs and leggings. Did I mention that I wore PASTELS for about 4 years? oy.

Aside from being a freelance MUA, I work part time at Sephora. I naturally do not have a lot of eyebrows and I have to use pencil and powder to fill them in. One day I was not feeling to well and opted to go to the cafeteria/lunch room to eat, instead I fell asleep. Lunch break was over and I rushed back to the floor to clock back in. I punched in and right away a client asked for help. I helped her, was approached by an additional client. The next thing I know, my friend/coworker was screaming: "Maria, what the hell happened to your left eyebrow? Please do the rest of us a favor and go to the back and draw it back on." I was soooo embarrassed because I had helped two clients looking like a fool and they didnt tell me anything. LOL>smh

OMG I am rolling. Too funny.
