I saw that the Murad Oil-Control Mattifier was being sold on Amazon.com and it was $9 cheaper than if you were to buy it at Sephora. Is it safe (meaning could the product be a fake) buying it from Amazon.com since it is at a cheaper price?
Amazon definitely will have fakes, but also the products could be real too. It all depends and it helps to read the feedback for the seller.
However Sephora is actually on Amazon.
Yes, just read the feedback of what people are saying about it, that will let you know if its fake or not!
Raisa C. is right.
Thanks for the help ladies! I'll definitely check it out!
I buy beauty things on Amazon a lot. I've never gotten a fake, just do these things. Check the seller name. Usually it will be an official such as "Sephora" Many brands and stores have their own Amazon store, you can usually trust these, but not always! Sometimes things aren't sold by an official store, but that doesn't mean they are fake. Read the reviews and comments. If the product is fake you will see many upset reviews saying so. See how many stars the seller has, see how many stars the product has=] And of course when in doubt, trust your instincts. If a usually high priced item is VERY CHEAP, it might be too good to be true. Buying online is always a risk but if you take the precautions you will get some GREAT finds!
I know! I noticed a lot of things were a bit cheaper on amazon than if you were to buy it in store. But i was just afraid i might get ripped off a lot of money because I might not be able to return it. Ill check it out again and thanks for the suggestions!
i buy make up off amazon all the time. i just picked up the smashbox softbox palette on there for $41 instead of $48 from sephora. definitely read reviews!
