Alright so I've tried everything to stop my NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencils from creasing. I always prime my eyes and it still does it. Does anyone else have this problem? Solutions?
Katie, i'm so feeling you!! i have same problem, i used Too Faced primer and Urban Decay primer,, nothing help.. i thought it's my primer! so great to hear you have same problem ^^ i put powder eyeshadow over NYX jumbo pencil. it help little bit from the creasing
Hi Katie! I had the same problem as well...I prime my lids with UDPP and I make sure to use a VERY small amount of the NYX pencil, a little goes a long way, and I find that applying in thinly has certainly minimized creasing. I also just use it more as a base, so applying powder eyeshadow over it helps to set it.
Alright next time I use it I'm definitely going to apply it thinner and smooth it out with a brush. Perhaps its just one of those products that should be used more as a base than as a single shadow.
make sure all the oils that are naturally found on the eyelid are as dry as possible, natural oils are usually the issue with any shadows creasing, before you prime if you have a powder.. finishing or even a powder foundation put that on the eye lid. good luck!
I always put Mac's Soft Ochre paint pot on my lid up to the brow bone and then I put the Jumbo Eye Pencil on and make sure to blend it out. This works really well so my eye shadow doesn't crease. Hope this helps!
wow they have never creased on me..i simply use them as a base..but prior to that I use too faced eyeshadow insurance primer then put some of nyx jumbo pencil but not too much then blend it out and put whatever eyeshadow im going to use
I used to have this issue, after you prime your lid using a primer take a small concealer brush and get the nyx pencil on the brush. Apply a thin layer to your eyelids and blend out. I found using brushes makes it a lot easier and more hygienic!
oh i never use the jumbo pencils alone. i always put a shadow over. they still crease if im not super careful not to use a lot. ive found that i dont really get creasing when i put a matte shadow on top
I definitely think this product is best used as a base and not alone. I use it to enhance my colors but never as my sole eyeshadow. I apply it very thinly and use a brush. I always set this with a MATTE shadow. If i want shimmer ill add it afterwards. Ive noticed that it definitely prolongs the wear of the product and causes a lot less creasing.

I would say just try not to use as much. That's what I do and it does not crease on me. =)

It seems like those things will crease no matter what. I've gotten great results by using them as bases

I just use a MAC paint pot neutral as a base. No creasing so far. And hey, if it works with my super oily lids, it should work for you.

They usually don't crease on me (I have oily lids) when I prime with Too Faced S.I. or UDPP and make sure the pencil is blended out well

I use a primer, Painterly Paint pot by MAC and then use a 217 or 224 brush to apply the product.
