I plucked my eyebrows really badly into that L shape look >_< It took a few months to fix, and I'm so glad it was fixable xD My mum has some pretty awful photos of my terrible (or non existent) blending when I was about 13 and just getting into makeup. I cringe looking at them now xD
Ah, so many regrets. For one, I never took care of my skin in high school. I was in Track & Field and after training everyday I'd just use a bar of soap for everything. Hair, body, face. No conditioner, no moisturiser, definitely no sunblock. *shudder*
I had decided to chop all my hair off in my second year because that's just one more thing I couldn't be bothered with (?!?) and, bearing in mind that I didn't discover make-up till my Uni years, I was a super-tanned, oily, bare-faced, plus-size girl. Pretty, no? Good thing I never got any grief for it. Probably 'cos I could've beaten anyone who might've dared to do so into a bloody pulp at the time. Nyahaha. Not that I would've. (>.<)"
Right now, I regret still not being able to be more adventurous with my make-up. This month, I promise to take that red lipstick out for a spin. Really-really. *NODNOD*
Using indoor tanning beds. Although I only used it for a year and there are no signs of aging or skin cancer, I honestly regret putting my life in danger over something so vain when there are so many amazing self tanners out there that I could use to get the same results. But beside that, I should have just accepted and loved the fair freckly skin that I have rather than trying to change the color of it. Since then, I religiously wear SPF 50 all over and reapply it to my face and other exposed areas of skin daily, it may not correct the damage already done, but its working to prevent any further damage. Take my advice, tanning is not cool being HEALTHY is.
Back in high school i would pile on the foundation it was so cakey. And that was long before i learned about primer. My eye lids are so oily i'm sure it was a hot mess not even an hour into the day.
I'm actually on the opposite end of the brow spectrum- I refused to touch them and hate looking back at my bushy-browed pictures! Ugh. It's really bad. I'm still a baby about them but I get them waxed frequently now. It's so embarrassing to look back at >.<'
I also regret having been too shy or worried about what others might think. I wish I'd just gone for it and tried new things out. Different hair colors and looks and things you can get away with in your teens. I'm in my late twenties now and I could never get away with some of the stuff my niece wears. I wish I'd had that confidence at her age =)
not such a big issue but wearing soooo much Red Lipstick for years, doesn't always suit me and dying my hair ten colours in total since i was 15 ooopppssss lol :) xoxo
When I was in middle school, for some reason I thought that I didn't have to wash my face. So whenever my mom told me to, I would just splash water on it. Because plain water totally cleans up oil!!!
I never over-plucked my brows, but I've definitely had some misadventures with my bangs over the years. I was at a family reunion once as a kid and I thought I could trim my bangs myself. When there were a bunch of adults around taking pictures, that was NOT the time to experiment!
Nowadays, my biggest regret is not taking enough risks and having fun with my makeup. I'm trying to wear more bright colors in my daily life. It's hard when I have to be up so early, but I don't want to do the "nude" look forever.
I regret EVER coloring my hair. I should have left it alone. Not wearing makeup my first year of high school. I would wear eyeshadow and NO MASCARA! What was I thinking!? Not moisturizing. Oh, second degree face burn from spring break. It only took 3 years to get normal skin again, not to mention the damage.
Oh well.. here's the future of our health and beauty ladies and gents, may we never make the same mistakes again! :)
Hahaha...using the hand-me-down makeup from my nana. She has horrible taste in color palettes. Seriously this one compact she gave me made me orange, it was obviously meant for people with dark bronze skin tones. Ack! However I used that compact for a whole year in middle school and really thought I was hot stuff...
Getting a hair wrap at Six Flags in sixth grade and cutting it out when it didn't come out after washing, like the lady said it would. Almost that entire year I had the long hair version of a comb over. Fortunately, that year those butterfly clips with the flapping wings were huge and the girls in my class thought my 'look' was cute (that was pretty surprising!)
Dying my hair dark! I have naturally blonde hair and I get highlights but every time I go through a rough time I dye it dark! Happened twice! Never again!
I used to take my eye makeup off by putting lotion on my fingers and pulling at the eye area to get it off! I know it's horrible but I didn't think I would have fine lines at the age of 20! I have really bad lines now...

I nair'd my eyebrows when I was a kid. I thought that trying to pluck them would hurt too much.
And not really a beauty regret, but I hated my glasses and never wore them.

Taking better care of my acne as a teenager and not picking my pimples. I know it's gross but I did it. Now I have a lot of spots because of it.
