I've been using the Sephora Collection Mineral Loose Powder Foundation (Price: $10) for the past 10months and absolutely love it and recommend it to anyone. It makes your skin silky smooth and it doesn't make your skin look oily at all. I hope this suggestion helps you.
If you are looking for a good liquid foundation then I would highly recommend Makeup Forever HD. I have been using this for several months now, and I absolutely love it.
It was a tad bit expensive (but hey it racked me up to 700 points on Sephora...free stuff FTW! :) but it has lasted me since March. I just take a pea sized, if not smaller, amount on the back of my hand with a 187 brush and stipple it on.
I would highly recommend this.
Paired with Urban Decay's Deslick my face absolutely looks flawless, and all of the discoloration and hyper pigmentation is taken care of.
I would definitely agree with MAKEUP FOREVER; the textures are great n the colors too. MAC foundations are not my favorite; first, the color range is either too yellow or too pink... And the textures are ok for young skin. If they don't dry n look chalky, they don't cover enough... But if u want to spoil yourself, u must try GIOGIO ARMANI's foundations! LA CREME DE LA CREME!
MUFE HD! However, you have to use that foundation along with their other face products like their brand of primer and HD setting powder. MUFE doesn't play well with other brands, so that sucks for girls that like to mix and match products for a personalized face routine.
I LOVE my entire HD collection though - their green photofinish primer is like a photoshop tool that neutralizes all the redness in my skin for a clean canvas to put on my foundation, and the HD powder keeps my oily skin at bay and really gives me that soft focus effect in photos. Use the HD powder sparingly though - people that complain of the white cast in photos are using WAY too much and not admitting it's their fault when it is. The whole controversy of certain celebs having white cast faces using the product were using too much - and it was the MUAs fault, not the product.
I am currently using CLARINS Extra-Firming Foundation. Lightweight and leaves a light veil on the skin. But if you are into mineral foundations, try Elizabeth Arden.
I agree with the girls on MUFE HD! I've tried a lot of foundations but it's my HG for sure! I love it so much! I got that MUFE package with the travel size primer, HD powder and I think the smokey lash and i love them all! It's kinda pricey but I as well just use a little bit at a time and it's lasted me forever!
For the MUFE HD girls, what do you use to put it on? What's ur fave brush etc?
I also wanna try Nars Sheerglow and the Chanel Foundation too!
I like to use the Mabellyine Dream Matte Mouse Foundation using a sponge and dabbing or stippling it onto my skin it gives great coverage and a flawless effect!
