I have combo skin so I have to switch formulas depending on the seasons. I use liquid or cream foundations during the fall and winter seasons because my skin is dry, but I try to use mineral powder during the summer when I have crazy oil production.
But I also live in a valley/desert area so the air does get very dry during the summer too, so sometimes I still use liquids or creams during the summer but top it with powder for extra insurance so it's less likely to get sweated off in the heat.

I like using a mineral powder, I haven't found a liquid or any other form of foundation that I like without that heavy feeling on my face..
