Hello ladies!
For Halloween I plan to do a sugar skull inspired look. I was wondering if any of you out there have attempted this and if you have any tips for me to help me through the trial and error process!
Thanks! <3

Hi katy :) i've done this a couple of times and i didn't really have any troubles that i remember ...i used different products each time as well... what type of makeup do you plan on using? i would just make sure to have a very small detailing brush... i also bought some self adhesive rhinestones from Michaels to use but since you have on face paint or whatever they don't stick that well, you'll have to use spirit gum or eyelash glue. i know i didn't give you anything you probably didn't already know but i hope i helped :P

Hey Ashley! Thank you so much for your reply!
I just recently had some fun getting some supplies for this look. I bought a few NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils, some great eyelashes, rhinestones, and some white face cream from a Halloween store(which is the only thing I'm a little iffy on) along with some white setting powder. I'm really excited about trying it out. I'll definitely be posting some photos afterward. Again, thank you for your reply! The assurance helped! Haha. (:

I would say look up Sylvia Ji...she paints incredible real looking dia de los muertos women. I've used some of her pictures I found on Google as mini guides and idea mappers...there so pretty.
I also suggest Mehron makeup/powders its like the stuff that clowns use for full face painting...and it lasts! And you can find most stuff pretty cheap on eBay :)

Kryolan makes good face paint too! I love the MUFE pencils for long lasting power! There awesome :)!
