I personally have been loving Revlon's PhotoReady foundation. It blends well into the skin, it does not look cakey and gives you a natural glow :)

There tons its just about shifting through and finding them...that's the hard said the . Like Lupe said the photo finish foundation is pretty good. And the new FitMe foundation from maybelline is good also. Are you specifically looking for something like eyeshadow/liner? Or just in general?

I don't know where you live but I live in the UK and at the moment I really like: 17 Natural Eyes Palette, No 7 Lipliner in Caramel, Max Factor Ageless Elixir 2-in-1 Foundation + Serum and NYC Chroma Face Glow.

Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Blackest Black!! It is my go to! I have tried tons of different mascaras (both drug store and brands) and this is my favorite, it doesn't clump and makes my lashes look thick and beautiful :)

I use tons of drug store products; you can check out my blog http://www.pretty4pennies.com for reviews of different things.
For foundation, I would recommend Revlon Colorstay if you're looking for full coverage, Cover Girl Natureluxe for sheer coverage. Blushes and bronzers, I love Physicians Formula because they are pretty and work so well. For eye shadows I adore L'Oreal HIP duos but some people stay away from L'Oreal as they test on animals - but I also like Rimmel shadows. My favorite eyeliner of the moment is Milani Liquif'Eye; they are super smooth and creamy but unfortunately they only come in the standard black, brown, etc so no cool colors like teal or anything. Mascaras I'm not so picky about, but I do really like Maybelline mascaras as a whole.

For foundation: I love revlon colorstay foundation
concealer: Maybelline mineral power concealer
eyeshadows: you're best with wet and wild color icon eyeshadow singles and quads reallyyy pigmented and they have many mac eyeshadow dupes in them
for lip gloss I would say go with rimmel lipglosses and lipsticks as well rimmel they have nice colors and the lipsticks have a glossy and creamy texture.
if you want matte lips then wet n wild has the matte lipstick range which are around 3-4 dollars and they have the perfect nude, hot pink, and even a great red.

Physian's Formula HappyBooster blushes in rose and natural remind me of MAC's MSF's. They have great gel liners too that I like to use as shadow bases.
Covergirl's lipsticks are hydrating and well pigmented. I like ds lipsticks since they're not drying like some brands like NARS or MUFE...
Ecotools and essence of beauty have great brushes for beginners too.

hey iryl!
not sure if this was mentioned, but if you have shorter eyelashes, i recommend checking out l'oreal's lash serum. i use it every night before i go to bed and i definitely see results. i have your typical short asian lashes, but now they've gotten a lot longer and stronger so i can actually curl them :)
hope this helps!

One of my favorite mascaras at the moment is the Rimmel Lash accelerator mascara! For it being 3$ at Kmart it was a steal, my expectations weren't very high but I was amazed because it did do what it claimed to do, my lashes did look fuller. I think it had more to do with the way the brush is designed rather than the "growth" formula. Also, Elf is AMAZING! I caught on to them at Target late last year and for the price its amazing how well their products work! I love their facial whip it adds a nice glow to my face! I use that and sunscreen most of summer. Wet N Wild has some nice eye shadow palettes especially during the holiday season, I bought a Christmas palette with some beautiful colors last year! You really just have to sift through and know where to go and look for sales!

Because I'm young and jobless, I live off drugstore products! Some amazing brands you have to try are:
Natural collection - everything is under £2, the foundations aren't great, but everything else is amazing!
MUA - everything is just £1! Me and my cousin rave about MUA products, they're so pigmented and could easily be as good as some high end stuff!
Those 2 brands as far as I know are only available in the UK though
Rimmel - my go to brand when I first started playing with makeup, and I still go back to it now! I believe all their products are under £10 and they are all of excellent quality! They have such a wide variety of colours too :) I really recommend Rimmel's lasting finish 25hour foundation :)
Barry M - If i could sum it up, it'd be an affordable Urban Decay xD They have EVERYTHING, from hot pink liquid eyeliner to green lipstick that shows up pink! And the dazzle dusts? Amazing.
I could go on, but these a probably my top favourite drugstore makeup brands :) for skincare, It's Garnier and Lush all the way for me, with a bit of Palmer's Cocoa butter :)

I think all drugstore brands have at least one amazing product. My favorite by far are the Revlon lipsticks, they are so pigmented (it's crazy) and creamy and that last forever! L'Oreal is a good brand, I think they are one of the upper-drugstore brands, but they make some banging cosmetics, I have to say.

i have been told WetNWild eye shadows are as good as the high end ones :)
