do you like lady GaGas make up and fashion sense ?

Yes and no. Lady GaGa is VERY theatrical, drawing your attention to her. For her makeup, though it may be outrageous sometimes, I always want to transfer it to my own face (or, at least, attempt to). Fashion sense, I can honestly say that I loved her pre-Fame Monster. During the Fame, she wasn't too out there, but she was out there, if that makes sense haha. I am loving her photo shoot spreads though; she's gorgeous on a majority of them, weird and all.

I love Lady Gaga! I'm very inspired by her. I love her makeup and fashion, and how she's not afraid to be "out there". Plus I think she's super talented, and appears to have lots of interesting ideas after watching all her music videos and listening to her lyrics.

I respect Gaga...I loved her when she first came out. Her first album was on constant repeat...but I think she's overexposed! Her latest singles haven't been so "original" but that's just my opinion and nothing really shocks me or blows me away. Although I will say that Edge of Glory is one of my summer anthems even though I don't like the video for it

@Andrew: Haha, looking at your picture made me silently freak out. I love the whole darkness to it.

@Andrew: Haha, that's the exact type of freaking out I'm talking about! Not a bad reaction to have huh? lol

I actually dislike her. She's not new despite the fact people think she is. She borrows heavily from Madonna and other 1980s musicians plus from the Japanese Visual Kei scene. It's not even her creating the makeup looks but the makeup artists that work for her. It's their talent that gets her noticed but she of course gets the credit for it. She's a big ol' yawn for me.

oh and i love gaga! duhhh who doesn't! lol

I'm not THAT old. I'm in my mid-30s. Madonna was actually BEFORE my time as a teenager (I was a teen in the 1990s). I just happen to enjoy people who are truly unique and don't feel the need to recycle someone's style OR who claim other people's work as their own. ;)

Google Visual Kei and you'll see she blatantly copies off of Japanese rockers.

True but there is outright ripping people off and passing it on as your own work or not giving credit to those who DID create the look in the first place. She has a decent voice, I'll give her that, I see nothing unique or special about her OTHER than she's good at marketing herself and people buying it.

@Yasmin and Andrew - I'm not a big Gaga fan, but I kind of agree w/ Andrew. Is there even such a thing as a truly original thought? You have to be inspired by something.

I go in and out of kind of liking her, to really disliking her. I could care less about how she dresses, it can be pretty cool sometimes and her makeup is always perfect! but she seems so fake to me, I don't get how people see her as being genuine in what she does, Obviously i think she's being true in what she says about telling other people to not be afraid to be themselves and what not, but she doesn't really ever seem like she's being herself. She might be wearing and doing what she wants because she wants to but you also have to admit that she does it for shock value and attention which is technically doing it for other people. Also her music isn't original at all, she might not intentionally copy other peoples music but the end product alot of the time seems to sound like something thats already been done almost exactly the same.
I don't know, my opinion of her is that I don't hate her but I dont like her, but that it could be a lot worse, I'm glad that she does seem to have talent and an amazing voice, so at least someone with talent is being played on the radio, and her message is good whether its genuine or not
PS I actually really liked her on SNL, it made me like her quite a bit more than i originally had.

Loooove Lady Gaga! We had to write a paper in english last year about a celebrity who was a hero to someone and I wrote about Lady Gaga, for her work with the AIDS fund and gay rights and all that she does. I got a LOT of crap for that since I go to a private Christian school. I gotta get out of here :P

I love mother monster! Who says that you have to always be 'normal'? I've never been considered normal, and i like how she shows that you don't have to be. Her style shows expression of herself, i admire that it's not about what other's want her to wear but what she wants to wear. If I had that kind of courage i'd definitely walk around drenched in blood, wearing meat, or a bright yellow wig with crazy eye makeup and a huge hat. Or have a bird on my head. hahah lol.
She's inspired me to not care how perfect my photos are and that it's okay to be weird. I'm just a holy fool :)

† PAWS UP † we were born this way, baby.

Usually her makeup is pretty cool but I haven't seen much fashion I liked from her.... not to mention- women are so overly sexualized today and she isn't exactly helping that lol
