It all depends on where you work. I don't have a job at the moment, but I'm a full-time students and I rock bold lip colors regularly to class. So if I had a job that would permit crazy makeup, I totally would! :)
When I was a manager at a photography studio I rocked bright lips all the time... I think it just depends on your work situation, when I was a waitress I strayed away from bright lips to avoid weird looks lol!
Definitely! I work in a call center for a major department store and I wear bright lips EVERYDAY. I wear bright red, pink, magenta, orange. I've worn MAC Ruby Woo almost everyday it's my go to, Girl About Town, Lovelorn, Pink Noveau, Vegas Volt. I just keep the rest of my makeup really simple. Just foundation, mascara, occasionally line or a natural color blush.
If you work in the area of law...its frowned upon. Other than that I don't see it being a big deal in other fields unless its addressed in a company employee manual. Creative fields anything goes.
I think it depends on where you work. I've worked in a few conservative offices and if I wore an orange or purple lip, they'd probably lose it! If you work in a more fun, relaxed environment, why not go for it? It might be easier to wear a sheerer gloss with color first, and see how that works. That's what I'd do. : )

Would you wear colorful lipsticks to work with a VERY neutral eye? Like MAC Morange or MAC Girl about Town?

I think it's fine, it can look pretty classic.

I worry about this as well. No one in my office wears bold makeup. I haven't been brave enough yet.

I would no matter what, unless for some reason it was not allowed!
