I want to go to IMATS next year, but which one should i go to? The one in New York or Los Angeles??
Pasadena is by far the larger venue. The Makeup Show is supposed to be fantastic in NYC though.
Does anyone know when tickets begin selling for IMATS 2012? I am planning on attending the LA show. Do you need a cosmetology license or is it open to the public?
Thanks for your help Tamara!...And Amy I am pretty sure it is opened to anyone who wants to attend :)
For New York tickets go on sale in mid to late Jauary.
IMATS LA tickets! On sale haha :)
Hah thanks Courtney. I'm oh so tempted to purchase now.
Hi Meghan - since it was the first time holding it in NY this year there was a lot of excitement about it but it was fairly small ... crazy crowded but compared to the one held in LA much smaller. It was fun but if I was to choose between the two honestly think LA is more worth it unless they plan to make the NY one much bigger for next year
Ok! Thank you Shouri, I will keep that in mind.

LA has more venders, NYC was rather on the small side.
that being said, it is supposed to be 'bigger and better' next year.
personally id wait until they come out w a exhibtor list and class speakers list to make your choice.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Im just going to wait, Thank you!
