Hey guys!! Do you guys use primer before foundation or no? If no, what do you use? I've heard Vaseline works well(from a former M.A.C employee)... But I'm not sure.

It really depends on your skin texture sometimes you need it sometimes you don't.As for Vaseline its great to soften your skin but to use before foundation would defeat the purpose it would Break down the foundation coverage.

Yes you use primer before your foundation. I heard the Smashbox primer is amazing.

I just saw a pin on Pinterest that says to mix cornstarch into liquid foundation, and then dust a little all over face to use as a makeup protector. Don't know if it works but I'm going to give it a try!

Always! I have rather oily skin and my primer helps a lot. I can apply makeup at 9am and look just as great at midnight because of my primer. I use Pixi pore minimizing primer. You can get it at target. Don't be shocked by the $30 price tag! A little goes a long way and the bottle may look small but it lasts about 3 months or more making it more of a $10 a month investment. Plus when you don't have to reapply makeup half way through the day you save money and time!(:

I use the monistat primer and in my experience, it really does make my makeup last longer.

Always! And Laura Mercier or Jane Iredale are my favorite! I don't use drug store cosmetics for those products!
