The other day I saw a couple ripple talk about rose hip oil and primrose oil, so I couldn't resist and went and grabbed them at the health food store. So now... Do you put them on everyday? At night and morning or just once? I want some magic oil that just makes my face shine. Hehe 💎 and do they help with dryness? It's so windy here in California indeed some moisture.

Rose is fantastic for the skin. Rose hips help to brighten the skin making it more youthful and radiant (I LOVE Fresh's Rose Face Mask and Korres' Wild Rose Moisturizer) and helps make skin more supple. As for Evening Primrose Oil, you absolutely can just pop upen a gel cap and apply it as a daily treatment to your face. At night your cells are turning over at a more rapid speed so it will have more efficacy then with the omega fatty acids and calming properties. Korres also has an Evening Primrose Eyecream that both reduces puffiness (amazing to wake up with refreshed eyes) and also helps circulation for dark circles.

I hope that answers your questions!  xo

I take primrose oil gel caps with my vitamins in the morning. Since I started taking it, my skin tone has really evened out, and I haven't had any blemishes. I get tons of compliments on my skin. I have really sensitive skin, so being able to take a pill has been awesome.

Very helpful!! Thank you!! I bought both in liquid form but I was doing some research on primrose oil and I found out that taking it orally also helps with fighting breast cancer, which is awesome for me my mother passed away 9 years ago from that nasty disease. So I am going to get some of that also Alicia, do you think the oils I bought will be as beneficial as the ones you said? They are just oils from the health food store.

I used to use rose hip seed oil in place of moisturizer twice a day and I loved it. I only stopped because I switched to full on oil cleansing but maybe next time I make my cleanser I'll add rose hip oil...

@Stefanie - Yep, that's what I meant about the gel caps mentioned. The other products have the same oils in them so it's almost "layering" ;). And yes - taking it orally is beneficial with all kinds of "girly" problems as well...lots of good stuff.

I started taking two 1,000mg primrose oil pills a day I see a change in my moods.. For the better and used to bleed daily from having my mirena IUD but have no bleed in over a week since taking the pills 2 weeks ago. My skin seems to look a lot better, no breakouts! Lovin the stuff so far!

I am obsessed with both rose hip & evening primrose. I take evening primrose orally & rotate between evening & rose hip as my night serum. My skin looks awesome, my PMS is at bay, & I hardly ever break. I usually only apply once a day to my face but, I like to rub on my chest & neck in morning too.
