I have very fair skin. I want a nice natural looking matte blush since I have oily I don't want anything really shimmery. I'll post a picture of what I look like. Could you please recommend specific colour suggestions?

Hi Shauna,

While you're fair you still have a gorgeous neutral undertone so you could pull off pinks or peaches or even a pinky-peach. Here's some recommendations (I love how soft and velvety the Inglot blushes go on - never streaky)

Inglot:
#37
#46
#51 (brighter - great for spring and would look killer with your eyes in the pic).

Thank you so much, I'll have to check those out.

Loreal tru match blushes are great and very natural as well as matte & affordable, since you have dark hair pretty fair skin and hazel greenish eyes (from what I can see on my phone- they're light so that's really all that matters) a pretty coral blush would look very natural you can try they're shade in precious peach, you can see it and all they're shades here: http://m.drugstore.com/loreal-true-match-super-blendable-blush-precious-peach-n1-2/qxp179901
Also if you want something more baby pink or pink in general I'd go with nyx powder blushes here's a list of all the shades, and some good ones for you to look into are (& btw you can't try all of them out at ulta before you buy them too): angel, natural, rose garden, pinched or summer peach - these are all very natural shades that won't be overwhelming and the coraly/brown pink blushes they have really add warmth to your face- I love them! http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/p-24-powder-blush.aspx

Thank you so much Amanda. I love L'Oreal True Match products, and I've been wanting to try out NYX products since we just got them here in Canada at Target.

I also recommend NYX blushes. They're such a great value and the color choice is very wide. If you're willing to spend a bit more, the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes are great. Some of them appear to have shimmer in the pan, but that doesn't translate onto my face (I'm the same as you, I have oily skin and prefer a matte blushes). I only have 2 of those blushes, Tipsy and Dollface. Tipsy is an orangey coral and Dollface is a classic baby pink. I think either of those would look good on you. Good luck on your search!

I totally agree with Courtney on the Tarte blushes! Dollface is my absolute favorite, I use it everyday! They are a tad pricey but really worth it!

You're very welcome Shauna! I know Sephora is doing a 15% off sale right now for Beauty Insiders, which helps offset the cost of the blush a little. I don't know if that applies to you since you said you're in Canada, but it could be worth checking out. I got my Dollface as a part of a duo with Tarte's Park Avenue Princess bronzer for $15 USD so if they still have that deal available at Sephora it's a good way to try the blush beforehand to see if you like it, and you get a bronzer too. If you don't need a bronzer, maybe you can go halffers with a friend and make it even cheaper!

You're welcome shauna! I'm glad I can help! I loveeeee loreal tru match powders they're so creamy, soft, and very blendable. Love them! And nyx has a lot of great products I recommend and have/use daily- they're really affordable but great quality. Honestly the only reason I like drugstore cosmetics so much! But anyways hope this works out for you! Good luck in your search!! Xo.

Benefit 'Hervana' blush. It's great on most skin tones and one of their more matte blushes! Super cute!

Oh wow that's great I need to go to Sephora! I love that store I'm so addicted. I hope they have that deal in Canada.

Yes I love drugstore makeup, it's surprisingly great quality and works well on my sensitive skin. I think I will definitely try a L'Oreal blush since they're so affordable and I already use their foundation, eyeliner, powder, and concealer.

You have all been so helpful!!

Try BH Cosmetics blush palletes. I have the 10 set. It cost me like $11 on sale and I really love all the colors. So much bang for your buck and you can have it shipped anywhere. I've used all the blushes and I love them.
