What kind of restaurant is it? Like fine dining or casual?
I work at a fine dining restaurant so I would wear dress pants and a nice blouse or button up dress shirt. Neutral makeup and wear your hair done. Just look very put together but not too over the top done up.
My rule is, dress how you would be expected to dress if you were to get the job. Good luck

I would keep it business casual. Professional but not "I'm on the way to a board meeting" dressy. Same with your hair since it is a restuarant. As for makeup I would think someone neutral but don't stray too far from your typical makeup look. Good luck with your interview!

Business casual is always good--I say it's better to be overdressed than underdressed because it shows you put thought into how you appear. I'd go with some nice dress pants and a button down shirt. The goal is to look professional. For makeup and hair, just keep it simple and fresh. Don't look too done up in that regard--where I work, we're told to keep our makeup natural and not too over the top, so it's good to keep it simple. Hope this helped!

Shauna, Regina, and Robyn nailed it. Keep it simple and put together so that you look professional but not like you're going overboard. Model yourself after the current staff-- how are they presenting themselves? That'll give you a good idea of how you should look for your interview. Best of luck!
