Hey ladies!! I posted a few months ago about my phone interview with MAC. I was called for my demo interview after that, then a sit down interview with the manager. all went really well and I was offered a freelance position. about a week later the counter manager called me and asked if I'd like to come join the permanent team instead! so excited. thanks for all the support and advice, ladies!! I'm attaching the pic of my model for my demo interview. it was really fun, just me and one other prospective artist. I got to do my own model's makeup...they gave us 45 minutes to create a look based on the client's needs/wants. good luck to all of the other girls interviewing!!

Honestly, check craigslist, that's how I found out about it. I responded with a cover letter and resume. but you can go to the counter...make sure you're dressed in all black, flawless make-up...basically dress like you already work there. bring a resume, cover letter, and a portfolio if you have one, and ask to speak to the manager. tell him/her you're interested in employment and would like to be considered. then cross your fingers and hope for a call back!! the interview process is pretty long and expect to go through 3+ interviews if you are called.
