I don't think I would ever buy fake make up. I love name brands and drug store, but I'd rather buy a dupe then a fake product online.

No. There's no point buying an illegal counterfeit product of questionable quality when there are excellent, inexpensive brands with safe ingredients widely available. Buying, selling, making, or failing to report counterfeit items are all crimes. I'm no criminal, so I'll stick to reporting the vendors and moving on.

I wouldn't want a fake product even if it was good quality. I'm still paying money for the product and I want to be getting exactly what I want, not a knockoff. There is plenty of affordable makeup of good quality available so why anyone would want fake makeup that they have no idea what it contains is beyond me. If you want a high end product you're going to have to buy from a high end store, you can't just go online and get things for cheap without skimping in some area. I'd rather be sure of where my makeup comes from and what's in it than save a couple bucks on a crappy ripoff.

No way. I don't use expensive brands because of the label, I use them because they work well. Fake makeup, that's so tacky haha.

No I would not buy fake products. We aren't aware of what's in these products. These people are trying to make a quick buck by taking credit for these products. And not only that I have a friend who bought a fake Mac eyeshadow before and let me tell you that the e/s color the packaging was claiming was not the real color that it should have been. The color was way off!

Sad thing was that she thought it was real because she never goes into a Mac store. So I mean people are being tricked and that's not cool!

@Bessie: No one is equating "Made in China" with automatically dangerous products. What we are saying is that the producers of counterfeit goods are CRIMINALS, and therefore are most likely not following ANY sanitation procedures or safety regulations during production. There is no telling what ingredients they used, where it was made, if the used any sterilization at all. There's a difference between buying a name brand product produced in China and buying a blatantly illegal fake product produced anywhere. And just for the record, no I don't break the law. Crosswalks, speed limits, etc. are there for my safety--why would I choose to endanger myself? No offence, but purchasing illegal contraband, and then giving a cosmetic product to your family that has potentially harmful or toxic ingredients is just irresponsible. I hope that you guys are lucky and nobody ends up with injuries or reactions--especially given that those mystery products are being used around the eyes.
