I know for a fact that Clinique. Estée Lauder, Shiseido and Chanel don't use lead in their lipsticks.

I have heard that drug store brands use lead but I do know that high end cosmetic lines don't put lead in their lipsticks!

It's a false add a complete hoaxes that's been spreading since last year.Many years ago products use to have lead in it but that has all changed.

Crushed beetles too that's right Pip! They use that mostly for the coloring same with strawberry flavored yogurt! :) oh man at least this is organic? Lol.

Lol yes the crushed beetle ingredient is read as Carmine or E120 sometimes red lake I believe. I'm alright with a little crushed beetle once in a while...
