You can start off with neutral earth tone shadows for your eyes as just a beginning until you feel really comfortable...maybe a nude lip color or a shimmering pink.

I would put a color similar to your skin tone all over the lid with a darker brown blended in the crease. (for some extra oomph maybe a dark. chocolatey brown blended through the outer third of your crease?) and a slightly winged liner! :) I think a look like that would allow you to have more freedom with lip colors! :)

You have lovely skin, I wouldn't cover it up w/ heavy foundation. Find a good bb cream or tinted moisturizer w/ SPF. Being a student, you probably don't have a lot of time to spend every morning getting ready, so just stick to some basics like mascara & a tinted lip balm-Burt's Bee's has a great line. Just have fun & play around w/ color & how much you're comfortable wearing!
