Buying Soft Box Lighting off of Ebay.

I really want descent lighting in my room, not only for when I make video, but also when I apply makeup. I would love to buy the soft boxes that the PIXIWOO sisters use in their videos, but it doesn't ship to the US (where I live). Has anyone has any experience with purchasing lighting off of places like ebay, amazon, ect? Thanks Xx
