I have very thick hair that has kind of been through the ringer between bleach and other hair colors. My question is how should I go about the coloring process to dye my hair all a deep purple with one or 2 streaks of a lilac purple? I know I'll have to completely bleach the life outta the part I want to do a lilac but will I have to do the same for the deep purple? Help please :)
It will depend how dark your hair is, how easily it takes to dye, and the type of dye/processor you use. You may be able to get away with just using a color remover and then dying it. If its already damaged I would try to stay away from bleach as much as possible. Hope that helps. I'm actually going purple myself soon(:
If you find yourself unsure, you should go to a salon & get it done by a professional who knows what they are doing. Avoid making a possible mess out of your hair.
I would suggest just doing a little bit if purple opposed to your whole head. I say this out of experience, I bleached my whole head and dyed it purple and it was a nightmare to get it all out and brown again!
