I own a temptu airbrush machine and love to use the MAC face and body with it, but lately i have not been satisfied with the results. I do not like the temptu foundations either. For those who use any airbrush machine, what foundations do you use, and if too thick, what thinning agent do you use? :)
Hi Manuela, try OCC or Kett and use a mixing medium with the same base as the foundation to thin out thick formulas. If it's water base use water, silicone base use silicone, etc...
I use ten image professional airbrush foundation regularly. Its a European brand I found by chance through the imats site and have been using it for a year now.
Try the MAC Airbrush foundation found online or a MAC PRO store. Do you have a MAC pro membership card? I find the $35 yearly fee to get the 40% off to be well worth it. Their airbrush foundation can be mixed. I have 5 and with that I can get any skin tone I need. If you want to know which shades I use ,let me know.
Anyone who has tried OCC, does the water based formula do well for brides? I've been happy with the TEMPTU SB foundations, but chemicals and such make me want to switch to OCC's formula. Does it last all day and work as well? Can I continue to use my TEMPTU machine?
That's interesting that you use you MAC F&B with your airbrush.. I'll have to try it in my temptu airbrush. I find that applying it with a brush it can feel heavy after a while on my skin. Does airbrushing it on give any better coverage in your experiences?
My all time favourite is Temptu sb- but if you don't like it then a good option is Airbase sb - UK company so not sure where you are based. For water based then OCC would be my choice- lovely product and performs well.
I use the MAC , Kett and OCC you want to have different formulas because you never know if your clients are allergic .. For me silicone , alcohol and water base cover it all
I ordered the mini-set under the Airbrush link but what came was NOT airbrush foundation but rather the tinted moisturizer. The tinted moisturizer is on the thick side so you'll need to thin it out. Least I had to thin mine out.
I only use Dinair on normal -oily skin. People with dryer skin or more mature skin do better with Temptu. I use the Iwata airbrush machine which works amazing with water base products but it is harder to use with SB bc it's so thick you have to literally turn the pressure up full blast! I do like both Dinair and Temptu though
I love to use mac foundation however I'm quite constricted with the airbrush though. I have tried dinair, temptu and even luminess! and I just can't choose! all of them are working fine for me. http://thebeautyreviewer.com/cosmet...
I've heard that using the airbrush machine isn't good for weddings because if you cry it ruins the make up and you can't just fix it you have to take it all off...is this true?
@Linda...I have always used Temptu SB, but wanting to try MAC. Can you please list the colors you use? I have discounts for so many brands, but some times it is much easier to just go to MAC. Thank you Kim.

I love OCC airbrush makeup!! And Hayley, yes you can use it in your temptu system because it's waterbased. And it does last all day for your brides.

Hi! Manuela, do you thin down the face and body before using it in an airbrush? If so, what did you use? Just curious :)
