While they say it's better for dry skin, I have an oilier complexion and love NARS Sheer Glow (I wear Siberia). There's also a Sheer Matte, but I've not tried it, and I've read it's a little harder to blend.
You may also like something like Illamasqua Skin Base -- loads of colours to choose from. Shade 2 is the lightest skintone shade. I think it's supposed to suit all skin types. You may also want to look into professional/theatrical brands (e.g., Kryolan, Ben Nye, Graftobian). I'm thinking they may work since they're generally for professional use (TV sets, theatre) and would be formulated in such a way to stay put under strong lighting -- something someone on a TV set or on a theatre stage would be subject to. (I know I've gotten hot under stage lights!)
Beyond that, I'd also recommend using a moisturizer with mattifying properties. If you're willing to spend the money, Bioderma has a good one (Sebium Mat); it retails for around $30 in the US (you can find it on Amazon), it's more widely available in Canada and Europe. (Yes, even if you're oily, you still need to use a moisturizer.)
I think I am going to try lllamasqua, andii. I have seen you left great reviews on them. :) it doesn't cause breakouts like Mac right every now and then?
revlon colorstay whipped foundation.
i have oily skin, im pale and i live in 100 degree weather.
this thing is amazing! and pretty cheap compared to high end foundations
makeup forever HD is the best foundation ive had its buildable and wont make your face oily and if it is you should use a transluctant powder over it or even primer like primed and poreless is great.
I just bought BB.. It was 110 here yesterday and it did not add shine and did not make my skin breakout which is a miracle bc I have extremely oily skin and acne prone..@ 29 yr this foundation also helps with wrinkle prevention.
Boots No. 7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation. It will change your life if you have oily skin. I hate the way liquid foundation feels wet on my face and this stuff feels like your putting air on your face. It's full coverage too, but feels like you have nothing at all on your face. It gives a satiny, matte finish and is great for controlling oil. Get it! You won't be disappointed. You can get it at Boots in the UK or Target in the US. :)
Also, if you have oily skin and think there's no way you could go without setting powder, that foundation is so matte and good at oil control, powder is an option. I set it anyways so it lasts longer, but it feels nice to have the option. So that just shows how amazing it is :)
Hi, I have the same problem, and i'm also very pale. I have very oily areas on my face,
Usually in the T zone. I use 24 hour colour Colour Stay by Revlonm , very reasonably priced and some great shades for pale and fair tones of skin that i found a lot of high end brands didn't have for me. Get it in combination/oily skin. It works wonders, and leaves a nice matte glow to your face. You definitley don't need anything in a shimmery for oily skin tones. I hope this helped, I really do . Let me know if you have any other questions! xo
Today is my 2nd day wearing the Colorstay 24 hour liquid foundation. We are filming on a hot set and I'm going into my 12th hour at work and I have only had to blot twice.
Revoln color stays lighter shade is even to dark same with Estée lauder and maybellines super stay that's why I'm having such a hard time with foundations lol but thanks everyone for the comments!

NARS Sheer Matte is really great! And I think you'd really love the combination of it with Hourglass' Mineral Veil primer.
