I do alot of brides around this time of the year and everyone is different with regards to skin, colours etc. and each one is defiantly a task but I love making the bride feel beautiful! I was wondering if anyone had any tips on bridal make-up if they do brides too and also what would you say where your top make-up products to use on brides? Laura xx

not a bride make up artis like your self. I am not skilled :) haha, but personaly I have found that Avon is my top favorite brand. Not all their make up is super but the ones I am curently useing I absolutly love. They are always at a nice price adn are always going on sale and they have a great selection of shades for both light and deep skins tones :)

I'm an event coordinator, I see brides. I agree about Avon, plus you can usually buy samples from consultants, which is perfect for individual touch ups. A lot of my brides use a sparkly neutral eye. Kind of smoked out browns and such, since it's flattering for most skin and eye colors. I'd definitely invest in MUA Heaven and Earth Pallete or Urban Decay's Naked. And when I say sparkly I don't mean glittery. I also see a lot of light pink lips and light blush. Once again, I am not a make up artist, but I do see brides from a different stand point.

Thankyou for all your great and helpful comments I really appreciate it I am a new make-up artist and I find most brides are not used to wearing any make-up, so I love to hear your opinions! Thankyou! :)

i did my own makeup for my wedding day i used urban decay's all nighter and the loose powder. i did natural makeup blush you dont need so much of bc during the day and partying the cheeks will naturally flush for primer i used primed and poreless from too faced and love it hides all the pores and feels so soft on the skin. i used a lipstain the nars lip gloss pencil and makeup forever foundation. i love pinterest to give you makeup ideas and hair ideas for weddings ; )

Yes I do makeup and brides are very different from the studio work I do. For instance in the studio, I can whip out my japonesque palettes and z palettes and work away, but with brides many expect lovely packaging, pretty products and designer brands to make the session feel special and pampered.
Although I swear by cinema secrets, sometimes a client is not familiar with it, so to put them at ease I use a more familiar product, like chanel vitalumiere. Also with lip colour a pretty estee lauder tube is generally very much appreciated as it has a lovely bridal 'feel'. I also have a separate bridal brush set to make brides feel special. Hope that helps!
