I don't know if I can really post this topic on here, but I need some sort of help.
Does anyone know what eyesmiling is? Well I have them and my mom absolutely hates them. I was supposed to meet with a modeling agency but my mom won't let me unless I manage to get rid of my eyesmiles. Which totally isn't fair because I can't just change my face.
Does anyone think having eyesmiles would actually ruin my chances of becoming a model? From what I've heard it looks like the modeling industry is always looking for things a little different, so I don't think they would hate the eyesmiles.
The picture on the side is what they look like.
I think there is no way to change it unless you go under the knife because your eyes do have surrounding muscle tissue. I went to highschool with a girl with the same thing....I thought it was pretty cool...she never looked mad in the eyes. Kinda bummed out to hear that your mom hates it...that has to be a bit discouraging to hear her say that. I suggest visiting a plastic surgeon and maybe finding out if there is something that can be done that isn't super evasive (like major surgery).
I'm going to be completely honest with you: This is 2012, no one is going to waste their time giving an insincere compliment just to be polite or nice. So when I say that your fears about your eyesmiling are completely unfounded, I'm being sincere.
Your eyesmiling is gorgeous. It makes your face have a youthfulness about it, which is always a good thing in the fashion/beauty industry. If I were you, I wouldn't change a thing. Your mom may not like your eyesmiling, but she's not who you want to like it, the modeling agency is. And in my opinion, your eyesmiling is something unique that only you have, and that's special.
I would suggest loving your eyesmiling just as much as I do (I'm jealous!) and forgetting about what your mom says. And about that modeling agency, I would suggest meeting them. Good luck :)
