Smiling looks awesome with braces! I think braces are really awesome actually, I sort of miss mine. :) keep them clean though and always remember to floss.
Soooo I'm getting braces next Friday and since I'm really self conscious about my teeth now I'm going to be super self conscious, but hella excited and happy! Is there a way to make braces look good?? Haha. Right now I'm thinking I'll be wearing red lipstick for the next 2 years..Lol
There really isn't a "way" to make braces look good, but whatever you do, don't get yellow or light green braces, they make your teeth look that color from a far! Good luck;)
Nope. If you're getting porcelain braces, be careful of red lipstick because of transfer. I still have my bottom braces on, but my top was removed a couple of months ago.
I've seen girls on YouTube with braces wear bold lips with no problem. I wouldn't let braces stop you especially if you're going to be wearing them for two years. Just make sure you get excess product off your lips so it doesn't have a bigger chance of transferring and just check on your teeth every once in a while during the day. Braces will look like braces. You can't make 'em look pretty.

in the past, i've worn braces for 5 years and honestly, "makeup" is NOT going to make them look better on you. If anything, you can tell your Ortho to put your favorite colored rubber bands. You looking good in braces really depends on how your face looks.
I've had braces for 4 months now. I can relate to being self conscious about your teeth even before the braces go on. I was the same way. The first day I had them I felt awful. I didn't even want to go back to work. But now my teeth are a lot straighter and I feel a lot better about my smile. Also.. If I may add I wear red lipsticks daily. I just blot my lips on a napkin right after applying to make sure I got all the excess off. You'll get used to them in about a month or so after they put them on. Just be confident. Sometimes I even forget I have braces. ;) best of luck.

Theres nothing to worry about honestly ,just follow every single detail of the doctors orders and Brush and floss those gums till their pinker then hello kitty's bow 🎀
