I used to have the same problem- excpet opposite. I felt naked WITH a headband on. I just forced myself to go out in public with it on and face it. You'll eventually start to like your hair down. Look at me! I can wear my headband and I love it! It just takes getting used to.
You're just gonna have to not have it on and get used to it. Instead of quitting it cold-headband, you could go a few days out of the week without it. Or wear it one day, then don't wear it the next, wear it the next, and just keep going like that and then eventually, go two days in a row without wearing it, wear it, another two days without... just follow that pattern.

I felt the same way about headbands too but just try taking some photos without the headband and see if you like any an with different hairstyles

Well, hmm ;l. You can try the on and off with the head bands and try styling your hair around them when you do wear them :3
