Many brands carry loose and gel/cream medium glitters. Almost all of them do not recommend them for use on or around the eye (or mouth) area. They are generally in the "body" section or cosmetics websites, or in a separate section of their own. I understand why. The risk of corneal abrasion is fairly high with glitter (and I'm sure swallowing a bunch of it can wreak havoc on a digestive system).
However, lots of people love a glittery eye, and I've seen glitter used on the eye (and mouth) everywhere from drag shows to the pages of Vogue. So my question is for people who really KNOW. Are there particular glitters that are deemed safer for eye/mouth usage, or is everyone just taking their chances with glitter?

You should try NYX glitter cream palettes ! They have like 6 different palettes, and they're great! You can get them at ulta, Harmons, cvs, or other drug stores. The palettes are safe and can be used on your eyes, lips, face, and body.
you can use any glitter that is cosmetic safe but also you can use virtualy any one so long as you put it on the right way and carefully. with glitter adhisive lit cosmetics has a good adhisive

And yeah, I'm lazy for not researching it myself, but there are so many brands here in Norway that we don't have :( Makes me sad. I want to visit the U.S

I know Makeup Forever has eye-safe glitters. They're quite fine & wont cut your eyeball if it gets in there =D

I've used just loose glitter before mixed with Urban Decay's primer before and I didn't have any problems.
