I've just used up my current skin products and am looking for a cleanser, day lotion (with spf), night cream, and anything else that would be helpful for my young, combination skin. I'm not satisfied with this last batch (garnier moisture gel, st. ives rub, olay lotion) so I'm looking for some advice. Any recommendations for drugstore products? What are your favorites?
cetaphil is a really good brand that wont clog pores and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. i use vaseline at night time for my eyes and face it helps mositurize your lashes and can also be good to take offf makeup. as far as body lotion i love using baby oil bc its just so moisturizing for the skin no other lotion makes my legs feel that moisturized. aveeno maybe with spf daily lotion would be good as well i also love aveeno cleanser and burts bee's exfoliator it really does make your feel so clean afterwards. when im in the stores i can spend all day just reading the labels and deciding how it would work for my skin but my derm recommended cetaphil bc of my oily/dry skin lol love all those products i mentioned.
Also keep in mind that certain products that are more on the expensive side can go a long way and last forever. My travel-size bottle of Josie Maran argan oil has lasted me over 5 months and it's not even half full.
I'd recommend Mark. Act Normal Daily Foaming Cleanser, it's for all skin types and it's got superfruits as all Mark skincare does.
Also, the Mark. Berry Grand Super Exfoliating Beads can be added to any cleanser and used as an added exfoliant whether it's mark or not, but what's cool is they connect with the Mark. That's Deep Purifying Gel Cleanser.
Also For Goodness Face is a good moisturizer if you're more on the dry side, it has SPF 15 too. Or Matte Chance which I use to mattify my skin and it helps so much!
I also used that Garnier moisture gel, I HATED IT. It was nice and refreshing but did not moisturize my fave whatsoever.
and I'm a Mark Rep, so if you're interested in any products I mentioned, you can always ask me more about them or check them out online (http://arioja.mymarkstore.com)
bior is suppose to be really great by balancing out your skin and you can get it at a cvs i currently just bought fab poreless it has a cloth with it and lemme jst say i feel like its taking off all the impurities as i say this and i havent even washed it off yet!!i do love cetaphil bc its thick and wont clog pores but then again i also use vaseline for that.
I am in love with Johnson & Johnson's All Purpose cleanser. It's gentle, contains NO soap, and is perfect for daily use. For a cream I have always been a big fan of Neutrogena's oil free lotion. It has a great consistency that feels amazig on the skin.
I can't rave enough about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash. It's $11 and is sold at The Body Shop and Sephora. Also, anything from Palmer's is great.
I use Cethapil gentle skin cleanser. I've tried other face wash but always come back to Cetaphil. I also use their lotion.
If you have an Aldi store near by you may want to try their line of skin care products. They are very reasonable and has gotten great reviews.

I like neutrogenia. Face wash and moisturizers from them are usually pretty good.

I use witch hazel. It's a natural astringent and can be found at pretty much any drug store.
