Matte Eyeshadow

I've never tried makeup using just MATTE eyeshadows and was wondering if there easier to work with and blend? Also what are some good, well pigmented, but inexpensive palettes out there? Any tips for working with Matte shadows will greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

They are easier to blend but are very hard to cooperate with if you understand me haha the best matte eyeshadows are by Mac and Clinique the best drugstore brands are revlon and wet and wild
