essie's new nail polish collection for the summer came out with very cute nail polishes. their colors and very bright and some are pastel. check out their collection at an ulta or drugstore. if you want a really good pastel, make sure to look for a matte pastel. to get the color perfectly onto your nails, make sure to apply a base coat and 2 thin layers of the polish and of course top it off with a top coat (essies top coat in good to go).
here is essie's website with all of their colors, hope this helps!! ;*
Barry M have some really nice ones and they're really cheap (around £2.99 a polish, not sure if they're available in the US). I've found they can be a little thick though so I add a tiny bit of nail polish remover in the bottle and give it a shake and that really seems to help
I usually make my own colors. To really make pastels pop I use my fav color mixed with a luminescent white maybe with a hint of glitter and paint my nails pure white before I add the color on top. This makes the color true and not dimmed by your natural nail color shining through. Also allows me to use less coats to get the desire effect.
Most of the nail polishes I find I don't like. They are either too dark or bad quality. So tell me if u know of any soft pastel colors that look good on your nails and aren't too sticky

I love Essie for pastel cremes. I have to use polish thinners with them tho, they seem to thicken up when exposed to air during the painting process.
