When I wash my brushes, I mix dish soap and my regular shampoo - sometimes conditioner if the brushes are thick - and use that as a brush shampoo, it works great every time :)

I have some new brushes and it was suggested to me that I should wash them before use. Is it really needed? I am really excited to use them ( they haven't arrived yet) and I don't want to wreck them. How can I do this safely and quickly without wrecking them haha? Will baby shampoo be alright? Thanks guys!

Add a few drops of dettol too.
