I have a nice summer dress, it's sorta see-thru, but just in the skirt bit. But the material is thin and clingy. I tried my seamless nude thong/panties under it, but it still shows an outline!
Any suggestions?

Try a white or nude slip! People don't really wear them really often anymore but it's really perfect for those sheer dresses. It won't leave lines and you won't be able to even tell that you're wearing it as they're super comfortable. Just make sure to leave a few inches between the edge of your slip and the edge of your dress so it doesn't peek through when you move around.
I hope this helps :)

I agree w/ Sana. There a skirt slips available that are very light and comfortable :)

Sana is a smart lady. Slips are the best thing for sheer skirts and dresses. Plus, you don't even have to wear an umcomfortable thong since the slip will cover it all! Just make you sure you still wear lighter-colored, non-patterned underwear.

I forgot to mention, how it's cut means i can't wear a full body slip (it's backless). I can't seem to find skirt slips around here that aren't COVERED in lace, which kinda defeats the point of a slip being invisible :<

Well, I'm not sure if you know how to sew or not but if you do, you can always buy a full body slip and cut it into a skirt and add elastic so it stays up. If you don't want to do that, you can always buy nude colored Spanx to wear. Once again, just leave a few inches between the edges so you won't flash your Spanx when you move around.

I might try that. Or I might make a lining for it :)

Or you just wear a super-tiny thong in a nude color. Uncomfortable but it pays of. Had a dress like that a month ago and it worked:)
