I am currently attending a community college and have come to realize it really just isn't for me. I talked to my boyfriend about it since he already knows I wanted to go to beauty school in the past. Now heres a couple of really important things. 1. Some of you may ask why I asked my boyfriend's "permission" so to speak. My boyfriend and I make decisions together as a couple since we have struggled a lot in the past and we talk about things to make sure our choices won't harm us in the long run. 2. I never got the luxury of having someone help me and answer my questions about college so I didn't even know about financial aide until I met my boyfriend and still didn't think it would count for beauty school. Now that that's out of the way...I AM SO EXCITED. When I move in August I plan on applying to Marketti Academy of Cosmetology. I plan on getting a headstart on my application essay. If I am accepted and able to start soon after moving I will be so much happier and feel much more at ease. Wish me luck guys and gals. <3
Ahttp://www...you're boyfriend is a keeper and congrats on following your dream. That is so awesome. Sometimes the traditional college path isn't for everyone and you have to go by what your gut tells you. I wish you much success. :)
Thanks. Yes hes a keeper I love him very much we have been together for over a year now and I don't know what I would do without him. Personally I think community college is awesome its just not my style.
I wish you the best of luck at beauty school. Shelley is right the traditional college way is not for everyone and thats a good thing because if everyone was the same this world wouldn't be much fun. :)
