ok so i want a yellow dress because i have a medium skin complection or mabey a blue dress and so i have bad expirience doing makeup and as for hair i have short shoulder length hair that is frizzy has no shine the color is a medium champagne brown with light red highlights and i have nothing to do with it please i need help any suggestions and mabey even a video tutorial
Were you planning on doing your own hair or going to a salon? If you're doing it yourself, try to just straighten it really nicely or ask a friend/family member for help! Or just curl it if you don't mind having your hair look shorter. Shoulder length bobs are really cute straight or curly, it depends on your preference. If you don't really have experience doing your hair though, I suggest going to a salon because they'll know what suits you. And as for makeup, if you're planning on doing it yourself but don't have the best experience using makeup, PRACTICE! Practice a lot. Go for something really neutral, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7s_... And since you have a deeper skin tone than that girl in the video, the colours will be more noticeable on you and make your eyes pop. Or something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n_E... It's still neutral but has a tint of burgundy/purple to it. And it would match either dress, btw! Or if you're really stuck on the eyeshadow and don't know how to apply it, go simple; wear some winged eyeliner, lashes and a cute lip colour (pink, red, nude WHATEVER you want and feel like wearing that night). Also add a bit of a shimmery highlighter shade on your brow bone and inner corner of your eyes and there! You're done. For prom, you wanna keep it simple, pretty and soft-looking. But I definitely recommend wearing lashes! And keep your overall face looking natural (ie; don't cake on your foundation, use a natural looking pink blush..) And when you're at prom, keep some of your makeup for touch-ups like your lipstick/lipgloss, eyeliner and blush. Hope you have fun at your prom! :) Ahh I wish I could go back lol.
