I've heard a lot about this shampoo and conditioner. It's for horses, but a lot of people said it helps hair grow thicker and faster. I figured since it was cheap I'd try it out. But I don't want to get both of them, so does anyone know which would work better, the shampoo or conditioner?

As with most shampoos, they really DO work best in tandem. Shampoos alter the PH of the hair when it is being cleansed, and the conditioner re balances. Using different isn't a HUGE deal, but as I see you're trying to grow a mane, and being hair health conscious will definitely help.
I have a friend who uses it, she thinks it works, I think it just made her hair dull and nappy. You can buy a set (sallys) for like $7. To be honest, id probably just spend the money on some Biotin pills.
If I had to pick which one would do more, I'd probably say conditioner.
