I've never liked round tipped acrylics, when it's natural nails I don't mind. But for some reason when it's gel or acrylic, I prefer them square.

Yeah, I'll never like them lol. But there's a couple different styled round tips, they're the vampire stilettos, the ones in the picture, and the natural round tip that will look like your nails have just grown out long. So it really depends on the style you want.

Its not a simple question of round or square, it's the shape of your nail-beds, how long are your fingers, are your hands thin or curvy....small or ample?

I would go w/ squoval on the round side, about 1/8 of a inch free-edge....

Round tips are fashionable at the moment but its always best to go with what works for you. But hey its just nails - give the round tips a try for a change - you may love it

I feel that round lengthens your fingers and makes your hands look very feminine :)

im not a big fan of the round, even on the celeberties i think it looks a littly witchy to me. i would say in between would be best

Square tips appear sort or dated to me only because rounded/pointed nails are trendy right now. I also feel like rounded tips are personally more practical and less prone to get in the way because they don't have any sharp edges.

Id say if you want to try, try new shape. As a nail technitian i give personal advice by looking at hands and nail form. Dont make them too long but stil almond shape. If it doesnt work for you, u still can file it down to square
