Yes! I hardly ever ever wash my face only if I wear makeup I wash my eyes but never my face. The more I wash my face the less I break out. The more you wash your face the more oils you remove and the more oil your skin produces which leads to acne!!. Now if you wear heavy face makeup I suggest using olive oil and not cleansers to remove at night which will not clog pores and removes all traces of makeup use a soft towel and then use your favorite lotion after and then I use Vaseline to cover your eye area and around my nose and mouth to seal the moisture! Hope this helps you all. P.s exfoliate once a week very gently. Promise it works! My boyfirend too he has clear skin and his sister to washes every night had bad bad skin. Did anyone try this??
oh wow ive never heard of doing this. i generally use a moisturizing mask every night..and then dab on some of my acne cream and then lotion. clear skin, moisturized :) but i will definetly give this a try (if i can get my hands on olive oil...that stuff is pricey!)
I agree with the method, but not the oil. You want to use Castor oil as your base oil and mix it with your oil of choice. Olive, apricot, grapeseed and almond are the most common. The oiler you are, the more castor oil you want to use in your mixture. As your skin begins to normalize with consistant use, adjust the castor oil to fit your skins needs. Be sure to remove with a hot towel and you can add a little bit more oil as your moisturizer if you feel its needed. I follow up with my favorite night cream. Enjoy!
