i keep it light & simple, especially when the weather gets too hot. My routine is moisturizer, Liquid eyeliner, blush and depending on my mood i wear my favorite MAC lipsticks, on hot summer days, i opt in for Chapstick or Carmex.

for my summer makeup (i mean this when it's just too hot for me to wear foundation because i'll be sweating it off; i'll keep a normal makeup routine even in the summer on days where i won't be out in the heat) i wear bare skin or just a tinted moisturizer/concealer. i fill in my brows with brow zings by benefit (just the wax, not the powder), put a little bit of a creme colour base by mac in fawntastic or luna to highlight all over, a bit of liquid liner in any color (changes day to day), waterproof mascara and liner, a mac paint pot or UD primer in sin on the lid, and a bit of a matte light to medium brown in the crease. on my lips i'll do a natural stain and some gloss.

I'm totally lovin my Elf tinted moisturizer. I usually just use my tinted moisturizer and powder to set it and apply very light blush and for the eyes I just use my Bh Cosmetics eyeliner pen and water-proof mascara.

for summer makeup i basically keep it simple especially if where you're living is hot or humid, you don't want anything running and it's just a hassle. I opt for tinted sunscreen because it blends in and doesn't rub off and then do basic eyeshadow, liquid or pencil eyeliner, little mascara, a simple lip color, eyebrows and then your done. On lazy days I just conceal quickly and then put eyeliner and lipstick. really simple but cute. especially if your getting tan, you don't need to cover it all up. embrace your hard work in the hot sun! <3
