I'm almost 18 & have never died my hair but I'm looking for a change. I've heard that dying your hair can change your natural texture & I don't want that. I was thinking just like pink or purple tips. My hair is just above my shoulder in an angled bob. What do you guys think? How will it look? Will just dying the ends change my texture?

I dyed my tips pinks when I was 16. The only reason my hair only on the tips felt different is because it was dry because I didn't hydrate my hair correctly back then and I also straightened my hair a lot and went over my ends quite a bit!
Unless you don't help rehydrate your hair with oils, conditioners, etc then it may feel maybe not as soft as usual but it's not going to be a horrible texture change. Whenever you do anything processed on your hair it damaged it you just need to help it when you do! :)
I think it would look very cute on you! Not many salons will do those kind of colors for you though so if you went to them to let them lighten or bleach your hair at the tips and you put your own color on that would be nice or another easy way my friend liked was using was splats it bleached and dyed but i would be afraid of unevenness
I personally by all my products separately and do it myself but UI would def recommend the salon route specially if they will do the color too!
Hope that helps! Enjoy that color girl!
Agreed! I'm sure it will look good on you! I started off with dyeing the tips first just this year at also 16 (birthday not yet past) and it didn't change my natural texture until I start bleaching my whole head then my roots become black. Not SUPER black since I haven't seen my natural hair color for months now and only managed to see the 1 inch or less of the roots. But my natural natural color before ANYTHING was done to it was a obvious dark-light brown. :/

Coloring your hair should not change the texture of you hair if it is done correctly. If you color it over and over or use harsh lighteners it can make your hair frizzy and damaged of course. If you hair is angled, it would be awesome just to color the tips in the front as if you "dipped" the longest peices in the front into color. I love that look and you would rock it.
