nooo, you definitely should not pop them. i have to say i am guilty of popping the occasional pimples i get & my blackheads, but ive been getting better at refraining from it. what you should do is apply a spot treatment after youve cleaned your face and leave it overnight. i know clean and clear has some good ones, or you can even use toothpaste. if you absolutely think you have to pop it, make sure to clean your hands and face first, and put tissues around the two fingers you will be using to help the oils from your fingers to cause any more pimples. hope this helped! :)
I've heard good arguments on either side. I think that popping can be helpful if done right. I've really had to train myself to stop picking at my skin all day, and I only let myself pop before I wash my face.
If you use dirty fingers, rip open the skin, put makeup on an open sore, keep picking at a scab... it's only going to get worse!
But if you have a clean face, clean fingers, wash right afterward, and be gentle on the skin, I think it helps to relieve pus. If you get an infection anywhere else, the right thing to do is to get rid of the pus, right?
A trick I've found is to heat up a needle or pin with a match (to kill germs) and then gently poke it through the skin. Then you can extract the pus without doing too much damage to the skin around it by squeezing and bursting it open.
No no no. You rick breaking the follicular wall which causes scarring and the spread of the bacteria. If you really want to get rid of a bad zit, treat it. Exfoliate, put a dab of clay mask on it and leave it over night, don't touch it especially with dirty hands, use benzoyl peroxide on it or salicylic acid. It will be better in the long run.:)
There's a proper way to "pop" a pimple and that's by "extract"ing them. Most dermatologists or spa facial experts do this. I wouldn't recommend doing it to yourself because these professionals do many steps before the actualy extract and of course you might be left with scarring, but professionals do "pop" pimples if needed.
This is going to sound gross but i got a pimple the other day,and it was the first one i had in years! My mum told me 'p0p it and rub some perfume into it' so i tried it though it did sting a little at first,it worked a treat, the redness and the size of it has reduced loads, after trying all differnt kinds of spot treatments.all i had to do,was do that little tip which only 2 mins and started to see the results after the day...in my experince, yes i would pop it,but it depends on the varied situation to be honest.
If it's a pimple, I cannot stand it on my face. Especially if you have it in clear view where everyone sees it or its super noticeable. I don't pop it anymore but I also dont really get pimples anymore, just the occasional clogged pore that's kind of like a blackhead. When I get one though I can usually start to feel it when washing my face, it will feel slightly sore and sensitive so I immediately start treating it. I use a spot treatment and be sure to clean that area if I do touch it.
if you have get scars I suggest using Cliniques even better clinical dark spot corrector. I use it everyday and my skin has made such a difference, I use it on old and new scars and they always fade away. Also, if you have a pimple that you dont want to pop, you can treat it then rub Visine on it, it will help with redness.

Sometimes you have to pop them, but should you really? It can leave scaring, irritation, and redness. So what do you think? Should you POP pimples?
