Thank you all for your halp and advise so far I really appreciate it! I know that there is an ugly side to modelling, and that you have to be think skinned inorder to get somewhere and I know I have that mental attitude!! The problem is trying to actually get intouch with some good photographers in my area and getting a pertfolio in the open for people to see and so I could be recognised for further work!
So if anyone has any tips on starting a portfolio and getting noticed then I would greatly appreciate that!
Thank you for all of your comments and help so far!!:)
I don't have much else to say, cause I would not know, but your face looks like a face I would see in a Magazine.

exactly! plus, they'll give you tips on what poses work for you :]
I agree with Brittany. Getting in touch with aspiring photographers (and makeup artists!) is a great way to hone your skills as a model! You build your portfolio, and you make some contacts! It also helps to train you to become comfortable in front of people you're not familiar with and your social skills. Best thing is that these aspiring photographers will be less judgemental of you so you can kind of ease into the whole judge-you-in-a-second thing. :)

Sorry for the typos....my english is usually better than this. I'm not wearing my glasses. lol
My son is a model. First and foremost I can't judge you and say whether you have the ability to model. Second, to be in the biz you have to have a really strong mindset going in because the business has a real ugly side. Being a model isn't all that glamourous and slick like you think it is. During this time of year my poor kid is modeling winter clothes in the heat while modeling summer clothes in the dead of winter...all outdoors. Don't get me started on agents. We've been blessed to be with a great agency but if you visit one who ask for money upfront....RUN!
From reading what you wrote it has me wondering if maybe you should look into fashion/beauty PR field. Becoming a model isn't the only route to get into fashion the world. You can be a buyer for a major store, a PR rep for a designer...skies the limit. And the make-up side....sometimes you're going to be stuck wearing a look that looks absolutely scary and gross and you be forced to flaunt it like its the best thing ever. Please don't get me wrong....I'm not trying to shoot down your dream but I caught an underlying theme here and it sounds to me like you would like to work in the world of fashion but with the mindset of becoming a model to make it happen. From your pics you are a beautiful girl but I just wanted to give you a word of wisdom. :)
