Hello so I normally exfoliate my lips before I apply any type of lipstick. After exfoliating I would apply lip balm. Once I apply lipstick it always looks gross and it doesn't fill in my lines and it makes dry spots even more noticeable. The lipstick just doesn't look smooth. It doesn't even matter what lipstick I use. I've tried nyx, mac, lancome and even the revlon lip butter in creme brule. They all do the same. Does any have any tips that can work? Thank you (:

I would try rosebud salve its amazing it feels like silk and definitely helps with chapped lips, you can get it at sephora

Thank you, I've heard many great things about that product. I'll definitely give it a try!

It's possible that your lips are simply prone to lines; you can get a lip primer from MAC (which I really like) or you can use Clarins line filler (a lot of people rave about its magical powers).

I just recently got the sugar lip treatment and I really like it! Has anyone tried the too faced lip insurance lip primer or the nars lip primer?
