Ok Ladies and Gents, I need tips on cleaning my brushes what to use do I lay them to dry or turn them upside down in a glass, How to prevent the bristles from breaking off ( that has happened to me before) do I use cold or hot water... Thanks a bunch <3's
I use macs brush cleaner to disinfect and condition . Its a clear pink bottle that costs like 13 bucks.
On my personal brushes i clean them everyday but not after every use . On my brushes for clients i used it after every appliction, its gentle enough. just spray it on and dab out the colour on a towel, or pour some on a towel and wipe your brush in a small circle.
If you need a cheap DIY do a tsp of alcohon in a cup of ditilled water a tsp of baby shampoo a a couple drops of tea tree oil in a cup mix it and dip a towel into run your brushes until clean and rinse with water keeping only the bristles under the water in a downeard angle .
Hope this helps :) let me know what you try:)
BareMinerals has a product to clean your brushes and or you can also use baby shampoo in Luke warm water swirl the brush in the palm of your hand squeeze out any remaining water lay flat to dry very small rubber bands will control any flyways only if needed
