I have mild acne, my problem is mostly scarring though. My skin is quite oily too and have been told by the woman who does my monthly facial that I have to use oil-free foundation but it doesn't seem to cover up very well! I normally use Bobbi Brown foundation and it is rather oily but I use powder to set or a primer. I CAN'T FIND AN OIL-FREE FOUNDATION THAT'S GOOD ! HELP?!

Hi Jess,
I'm a Esthetician (skin care therapist). Which BB foundation are you using? The natural finish foundation is oil free 'golden' , I use it love it=) Bobbi Brown 'Skin' foundation has oil in it and is meant for dry/normal skin types. I believe Giorgio Armani silk foundation is oil free and has a variety of skin tones for golden girls. Avoid Mac foundation, so many synthetic fillers that call clog pores.
I have hyperpigmentation and also use the bobbi brown touch up stick 'golden' for the dark areas and set it with powder. Make sure you are treating the original problem:acne and the after affect:scarring as well. What products are you using?
I use a Clearasil exfoliating cream wash before bed and whenever I have breakouts I use a Vita Derm cream which I put on before bed too. I also take clarithromycin tablets! I use the Moisture Rich foundation and the golden touch up stick:) Its quite difficult for me to find foundation for my skin tone, how much would Giorgio Armani foundation be?
Clinique acne solutions concealer and foundation. Apply the concealer on particularly bad blemishes before foundation. Its mattifying with a good amount of coverage! Both have salicylic acid to help fight the acne too.
