There are a few body washes that contain saylicic acid that are great, Neutrogena is awesome for those sorts of products! If you have hair that reaches your back tying it up when you sleep (to keep the oils from your hair from clogging the pores on your back) and clean tshirts at night I guess all of these should help, :)
Acne is an inflammation of the skin that causes blackheads, whiteheads, and red spots. Acne occur when skin pores get clogged with a mixture of oil, dead skin cells, dirt and bacteria. A good way to get rid of such things on your back and face is to purchase a body wash and toner with salycic acid. What salycic acid does is penetrate the hair follicle. When follicles (more commonly known as pores) can be penetrated they get cleaned out, removing the mentioned nasties that cause blackheads, whiteheads, and red spots. Salycic acid can be found in a number of different products from face washes, to toners, to lotions, even to some foundations. It is one of the best acne products you can use, as it doesn't dry out the skin or make the skin more susceptible to the sun like many other products do. Since it’s in so many products it’s easier to find for cheap. It works extremely well when paired with benzoyl peroxide too. Don’t forget to treat your back as though it’s your face, just with much thicker skin (Keep in mind too that since the back does have thick skin, you can use harsher products on it, but don’t go too crazy with that). If you’re applying a face mask every Saturday, get extra and apply it to your back too. And just as with your face, don’t forget to moisturize your back! Acne and oilyiness can sometimes be caused by a lack of moisture, so after you wash apply your favourite (preferably non scented) body butter or moisturizer. Speaking of washing, be sure to wash your back everyday. Be extra sure to wash as soon as possible after you start sweating. Sweat is full of toxins, so wash no more than 15 minutes after you sweat. I hope this helps!

I've been getting a lot of acne on my back and shoulders lately... How do I stop it? How do I prevent it from coming back?
