Hey everyone! really want a neon yellow nail polish. have any of you guys tried the china glaze ones? dont mind china glaze but i find that theyre really translucent and take many coats to get the desired color.. are the neons like that? do you guys recommend any other brands that have neon colors?
thanks! xo
i can't speak from experience because i'm impatiently waiting for my order from 8ty8beauty to arrive in the mail, but from the reviews i read, the new china glaze summer neons are actually pretty great! most people say they're 2-3 coaters & some are thicker so might require a bit of polish thinner, but nothing i'm not willing to work with! try googling a few reviews on them; scrangie & vampyvarnish have reviews with all the polishes from the collection! ^_^
I have the yellow China Glaze neon polish from last year, it's called Celtic Sun I believe?
It's super translucent with one coat, I always use like a white polish as a base so the color REALLY pops. This is what it looks like with a white base and two coats :)
i have the recent pool side collection, i have lifes a beach, which is pink, it defo needs two coats just to make it pop, but i found it took a while to dry
Try apply a white base of maybe 2 or 3 coats then applying the neon color but make sure the white is completly dry before appplying the neon color.......All neon colors give the same problem the white definitely makes it a lot brighter
