I would get lots and lots of layers, that will help with your thin hair. And I'm not fully sure on what a double crown is, but from what I read on google, I think I semi understand what it is. So heres what you can do: If your double crown is on the top of your head then you could get a hair cut with your hair flipped over it. You can also back comb your hair (tease you hair) to cover the fact up. You can also get extentions that will cover it up. Not to mention berets are stunningly cute hats that dont cover up all your head (depending on the one you get), you could try getting a few of those. And thats all I can think of. Hope this helped :)
I have thin hair and a weird deep part on the back of my head. It's something probably no one else notices but it bothers me. I wash my hair with baking soda for texture. It keeps it soft and shiny but kind of thickens it up. Just put maybe a tablespoon in with your shampoo. Next, dry shampoo is your friend! Even if you want sleek hair, put a little in, put your hair up then brush it out and style as normal, but tease your crowns a bit. This helps me, and no one can see what I've done.

When I comb straight down over it, it wants to split where the tracks of the comb are.
The trick I have learned that really works for me is this: When I comb over it (while it's wet), I comb in a zigzag. I sometimes have to comb zigzag over it a couple times (using a mirror in which I can see the back of my head). Then I take bobby pins and pin it in place so it stays put while it dries.
I also make sure I part my hair on the right. If I part it on the left, my hair wants to part itself the rest of the way to the center of the wonky crown. Then I have a part that goes clear to the back of my head which looks stupid.
I recently realized that I have never seen a guy with a double crown. Maybe they have them, but I've never seen one.
