How can I take off my acrylic nail without ripping my own nails?

i used to always just soak them in pure acetone for awhile & then peel them off. it still damages your nail a good bit & it hurts pretty bad. but if you dont find a different way & you do this, if you apply a hardener/strengthener to your nails they will be back no normal in about a week.

very painful! i did that once & will never do it again. Its alot easier & painless if you go to a nail salon. They can do it quick & it will not rip your own nails off.
